Rental of our Building
We happily make our space available for rentals. Our facility is conveniently located near the intersection of State Street and Alpine in Rockford. We have a wide variety of spaces available for rental and will work with you to find the right set-up for your event, whether large or small.
Our large, airy sanctuary features comfortable chairs that seat up to 200. Among other things, we welcome use of our sanctuary for wedding ceremonies of all kinds. Rental of the sanctuary typically includes access to a piano, one wired microphone and podium, three wireless microphones, a 6-channel sound mixer capable of audio CD recording, and ceiling speakers.
Deale Fellowship Hall
Our large fellowship hall has a capacity up to 100. The adjoining kitchen can also be rented.
The narthex, a large foyer space directly inside the main double doors, features our beautiful Rehnberg window. This is a nice space for small, intimate wedding ceremonies.
We have a number of smaller rooms (conference rooms, class rooms, library, etc.) which can also be rented. If you are planning a conference for which a number of rooms are needed, we can help you determine which spaces within the building would best suit your needs.
Ample parking space is available in our four connected parking lots.
We are a fully accessible facility. We have an elevator (450-pound capacity) big enough for an attended wheelchair for access to our lower level. There are five handicap parking spaces, in addition to two special needs parking spaces on the upper lot. The restrooms located on the main floor are handicap accessible.
Rentals at the church typically include only the physical space and tables and chairs. Other elements, such as linens, dishes, silverware, food, decorations, and minister services are not included.
The renter/user will pay any fees charged by the Rockford Police Department, Rockford Fire Department, or A.D.T. Security System if a false alarm results from improper use of the security system, or a failure to secure the building.
Payments are made at the Church office at least 7 days in advance of the rental date. A $250 refundable deposit made to the Church when the rental agreement is signed will hold your space should another renter be interested in using the space on the same date and time. The deposit will be refunded after the event if there are no exceptional clean-up needs or damages.
