|Wonderful Wednesday Offerings! |
December 1st at 7pm in the library. Join Annie Hopson, Youth Services Director at the Rockford Family Peace Center, to learn more about prevention and youth services for young people impacted by violence. Ms. Hopson has made it her mission to end the cycle of violence and to show young people who have experienced violence that those experiences do not have to define their lives.
December 15th at 7pm Blue Christmas Service will provide an opportunity to share the losses, vulnerabilities, and despair brought on by the pandemic, loneliness, or death. We invite those who have a special need for comfort, hope, and healing at this time of year to attend with a friend. Music provided by harpist Nanette Fox. Services leaders, Rev Joyce and our Caring Team members. *If you would like to provide a ride or need a ride, please let Rev. Joyce know at email@example.com or 815-398-6322 ext. 3.

Typically the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 6pm
We gather at the church, sometimes for fellowship, sometimes for spiritual deepening and worship, other times to learn something new. This is a great way to connect to our community outside of Sunday morning, make new friends, and find spiritual nourishment in the midst of your week. Please sign up for our newsletter to see upcoming Wonderful Wednesdays.
Touchstones Groups are small groups of people who gather twice each month and engage with the church theme for the month. Group members share the individual work and thinking they’ve been doing on the theme. The goal is to learn, support and connect with each other, while growing in faith and community. Touchstones groups are a great way to meet new people and to take the time to nourish yourself on your own personal journey. Contact Rev. Joyce Palmer (firstname.lastname@example.org) to learn more about joining a group.
