In the Jewish tradition the days between Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, are referred to as the “Days of Awe”. It is a time to both celebrate the sweetness of life and to reflect on our own lives, and to make amends for when we have fallen short. In this time, when all seems so changed and uncertain, what can we learn from this Jewish practice?
