Questions for Your Answers
August 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Online and in-person
Rev. Bret Lortie & Rev. Joyce Palmer The annual “Question Box” service has been a staple of summer worship in many Unitarian Universalist churches. The idea is simple, during the time usually reserved for a sermon, Revs. Joyce and Bret will open up the floor for your questions, which they will address extemporaneously. Where will they get these questions? Two ways! First, we’ll have cards you can pick up before the service to write down a question. Second, to spice things up, we’ll have a number to which you can text questions during the service. If you want to submit your question ahead of time, just email them to the ministers (cc’ing both).
We will Share the Plate with the Minister’s Discretionary Fund

Carrie Humus here with a reminder! As much as we would all like to preserve the environment, please make a note of the fact that plastic-coated paper plates are NOT, repeat NOT, compostable, so please do not place them in the green containers in Deale Hall. You don’t want polyethylene microplastic particles to contaminate the end product of our compost program, now do you? I didn’t think so.
Sincerely, Carrie, your UU Partner in making the world a better place.
