Join us this Sunday as we look to transgender authors, poets, and ministers to celebrate the transformation that comes when with gender. Whether you are transgender, cisgender, or not sure about gender – join us to celebrate the transformation that comes with self-reflection and discovery!

UU Who’s Who?
featuring Steve Blomgren (Past Treasurer)
Question 1: What did you enjoy about volunteering on the Board? Answer: I enjoyed the camaraderie I shared with the other members of the board. I got to know members that I either didn’t know at all or did not know very well. The board members were respectful to each other and the process; meetings were nicely organized. Humor was injected in our meetings which was enjoyable. I certainly developed friendships with all of the board members. As Treasurer I was quite involved with discussions about the church’s financial status and outlook, the stewardship drive, the fundraisers, and the budget. I was the liaison to the finance committee and investment panel and reported their work to the board through the monthly Treasurer’s Report.
Question 2: How did you get your position? Answer: I was recruited by the nominating committee to be Treasurer.
Question 3: What was the first position you volunteered for at the church? Answer:The first position I volunteered for at the church was as a board member being the Treasurer in the mid 1980’s.
